How I Helped My Client Go From $1k a Month to Hitting $18k in May in her Online Coaching Business

I know lots of you out there are always asking whether online coaching is worth it.

And without going into too many details here (read the blog I linked above to see my top reasons to hire an online business coach), my answer is always a resounding yes.

Because even the not so great coaching experiences I’ve encountered inadvertently helped me to build a better online business and serve my clients better than I have done before. 

This has led to getting results like the one I’m sharing today. 

Before you think, this would never happen to me, let me tell you that just like all of us, my client is human, she was having a few mindset wobbles, but inside my mastermind, Freedom CEO Accelerator, we helped her to navigate those wobbles and she messaged me just a few days ago to share this incredible news.

Six Figure Mindset Shifts 

So the first thing we looked into with this client was her mindset and I’m sure this is something that you can resonate with as we’ve all been there. 

She was struggling financially. Wondering where she’d find the funds to pay the bills and what not and because of that, she was struggling to show up and sell, which only perpetuates the cycle. 

So before we worked on the strategy and looked at things like her pricing strategy and what her audience were actually craving, it was important to pull her out of that slump so that these doubts wouldn’t come up when we decided it was right for her to promote her offers again. 

This is why mindset is so important. It’s not the only thing and mindset won’t make up for a bad strategy, but likewise the best strategy with a poor mindset can be just as ineffective when trying to grow your online business.

Switching to a Six Figure Strategy 

Just because this client wasn’t at six figures yet, it didn’t mean that she couldn’t benefit from switching to a six figure strategy. 

Now it’s worth mentioning that this client had been in business for about a year. However, she had to take some time off due to personal reasons and when she got back she had a “failed” launch. I say failed with the quotation marks because I think we can learn a lot from launches that don’t always go to plan so using the word fail just isn’t for me. 

She did get some sign ups, but not as many as she thought; which going back to the mindset piece, wasn’t doing a lot for that. 

I could clearly see that the offer wasn’t landing right with her audience. 

So the first step in turning this around was actually seeing what was speaking to her audience. It sounds so simple but this is what six figure business owners do all the time to make more sales in their business. By understanding exactly what their ideal clients are going through and what they need to fix their problems…and then creating an offer that does exactly that. 

Step two was then creating a new offer around her strongest content pieces (strongest being the content her ideal clients were resonating with the most). 

She suddenly started selling those offers like hotcakes. 

Which then led to the spots going and her releasing more at a higher price. 

Off the back of that we’d built some momentum and it was time to target her content strategy. 

Six Figure Content 

My client was heavily focusing on educational content previously and I knew that in order to start attracting higher calibre clients who’d be willing to pay more, we needed to focus on problem awareness content. 

This led to near daily enquiries through social media. To put this into context, this client had gone viral on TikTok previously, hitting over 1 million views, but didn’t make a single sale from the video.

She was now having videos perform well AND convert. 

Six Figure Pricing Strategy 

Which then brings me to the final thing we implemented. A brand new pricing strategy.

We got super intentional with her figures, changed her prices to a number that made sense and aligned with the rest of her offer suite and upped her 1:1 to a £4.5k investment. 

This one’s for all the people out there who get the “I can’t afford it” objection. 

These 1:1 spots literally flew out! 

She sold three or four 1:1 coaching spots, some pay in full and this resulted in her hitting an $18,000 sales month. 

The reason they sold out because along with her intentional pricing strategy, we also focused on that content and messaging that spoke to that “next level” client and as you can see, it worked!

When I say things can change FAST in the online space, they really can.
