If you’ve spent any time whatsoever looking up how to sell on Instagram, you’ll have likely seen a lot of talk around attraction marketing. Letting your dream clients come to you and using activation content to get them to take action (a.k.a. Invest in your services).
If you follow me over on Instagram, or have heard me talk about my cash content formula masterclass, you’ll have seen me use attraction marketing quite often.
But what is attraction marketing? How does it work on Instagram and how can you use attraction marketing techniques to attract high ticket clients on social media?
Let’s take a look.
I’ve shared some great attraction marketing tips before and how you can learn to sell without selling. But the subject runs deep and today I want to talk about Instagram specifically and how you can leverage it to attract high ticket clients.
But firstly, you need to know what attraction marketing is, right?
In essence, it’s marketing your services and encouraging people to purchase without going for the hard sell. Because we don’t do cold DMs around here.
It’s about listening to your audience, meeting them where they’re at and then communicating why your programme/service will get them to where they need to be.

But for now, let’s get back to Instagram and why it’s the perfect platform for implementing your attraction marketing strategies that I teach in the masterclass.
Essentially, Instagram is a nurture-based platform and is designed to build communities and be social – it’s why it’s called social media.
When we think about the sales process, most ideal clients will go through a stage where they discover who you are; usually through attraction/outreach content, they’ll then get to know, like and trust you through nurture based content. Finally, some of them will buy from you through conversion content.
Now certain platforms are great for certain stages of the marketing process. TikTok is great as an outreach platform because the majority of your content gets shown to new audiences through the for you page. This is how I managed to grow and monetize my TikTok account within a couple of months.
Instagram is the go to for building a loyal community and then email marketing, or even Instagram stories is great for conversion.
So what are some of the best attraction marketing strategies for Instagram as you’re building your community?
Storytelling is a powerful tool that any business owner can leverage to start attracting high ticket clients. Our brains are wired to be attracted to people’s stories, they keep things fun, entertaining and engaging. Stories are also what makes you “you”. When people are saying that there’s only one “you” and to sell yourself, this is what they mean.
Stories are a part of our everyday lives and what’s interesting is that the content I share that’s centred around storytelling, my opinions and my beliefs, and about the life I want for my partner and I are some of the highest performing content across all platforms.
Storytelling doesn’t have to be centred around you either. It could be a client win. For example I recently shared a post about how one of my clients tripled her revenue whilst we were working together. Content like this helps your ideal client to see that it’s possible for them too. It activates and inspires them to take action.
One thing you’re probably guilty of if you’re struggling to sign clients is saying YES to everyone and everyone who comes across your page. However, the problem with that is that sometimes, they’re not the right client for you.
If we look at that post I shared above, not only was I storytelling, but I was also talking to a specific client in the caption. I put emphasis on how this client always came to calls prepared and always did the work.
I want people to know that when it comes to working with me, investing is simply not enough, they need to do the work too and I was speaking to that person specifically in that caption.
Attraction marketing isn’t just about calling people in, it’s about calling in the right people so specificity is important.
