One of the biggest drivers of sales for my online Coaching business and for my client’s online businesses is content.
Attracting dream clients through TikTok, Instagram and Email Marketing, my content strategy is what allowed me to attract over $70,000 in sales in Q4 2022 and today I’m going to share with you exactly how I do this and how you can cultivate success with attraction marketing too.
But first up, I want to address the elephant in the room because I know that if you’re searching “how to sell without selling” or “how to sell without sleaze” then you’ve probably had a poor experience with sales in the past that’s affecting your relationship with selling.
The sleazy car salesman.
The mass amount of cold DMs you get on Instagram promising you the world.
But sales doesn’t have to feel this way.
With the right marketing strategies, you can put the majority of your focus into creating content that attracts your dream clients, rather than having to go out and message 100 people with the same message hoping someone bites…because that’s not how I or my clients do business.
Sales gets to feel easy, fun and non-sleazy and your content and attraction marketing strategy is what’s going to get you there.
While customer retention and providing a first class client experience is super important for a business owner, one thing that’s inevitable in business is that every single client won’t stick around forever.
You may be working with them on a one-off project. You might have taken them through your high level mastermind for a year and they’re ready to implement solo. There are so many reasons. Which means you need to perpetually fill your pipeline to call in consistent sales.
One common mistake I see in the online space from Coaches and Service Providers who are struggling to get consistent enquiries through content is that there’s always a part in their sales funnel that’s out of balance.
For example, you’ve managed to attract thousands of followers on Instagram but still haven’t monetised it and are struggling to make sales.
If this happens to you, it means you’re really good at creating top of the funnel content that intrigues people enough to hit the follow button, or save your ‘tips’ posts, but there’s a lack of content in there that makes them want to buy from you.
Essentially you’re over-educating them and not activating them to take action. You’re giving them everything they need to go do it for themselves, so why would they buy what you’re selling? Another common roadblock/mistake is that your message is diluted because it lacks specificity and being specific is what really attracts aligned clients into your world.
When you get really specific on who your ideal client is, what they want, and how you can get them to where they want to be, and tailor your content to the different buyer types, that’s when you’ll go from crickets or enquiries once in a blue moon to consistent DMs from dreamy people.
Using phrases like, I help you get back your time or I help you with your social media strategy lack substance and leave your ideal client thinking “yeah but how?”
Instead, you need to look at the exact things your ideal client is going through and feeling right now and speak to that in your content. This is going to help your ideal client feel seen and heard and build that know, like trust factor.

But as a starting point for now, using the example phrases above, think about what your ideal client could do with that time you’re giving them back. How are they leaking energy with their social media strategy right now? What would they LOVE to be doing instead? How would their life transform if they invested in your services?
These questions are going to help you get really specific with your content and activate your ideal client to take action – that’s attraction marketing at its finest.
Plus when you master content like this, you’ll be able to sell everyday without feeling like you’re selling, it’s way more natural
So does this work for new business owners?
Absolutely.
This method works for you whether you’re brand new to business, are in the rapid growth stage, or are a scaling service provider or coach which is what makes attraction marketing so appealing; you’re not constantly switching up your strategy.
